The parable (or allegory) of the Prodigal Son is a message of repentance. Every human has been a prodigal, separated from the grace of God. Yet it is the divine will of God for us to all make our way home and follow Him.

Repentance is required for salvation, and this precious gift is only the beginning for those who obey and serve the Lord. The revelation of the Prodigal is an in-depth study of the gifts that the father gave to his repentant son, after he was brought back into the family.
